Career Description
Directly influences guest impressions by the way (s)he greets them on the telephone, routes their calls, answers basic inquiries, books service appointments properly and takes care of them in accordance with the Dealership policies
- Â Schedules service appointments (utilizing the required processes). Obtains guest and vehicle data prior to arrival
- Â Greets guests on the phone or email in a timely, friendly manner, obtains vehicle information and processes appointments
- Â Writes up guest's vehicle concerns accurately and clearly.
- Â Advises guests on the proper care of their car and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
- Â Properly enters appointment RO into ADP/Xtime system
- Â Adheres to the current service marketing programs
- Â Uses all service department forms, menus and pricing guides consistently; notifies management if any information is out of date or incorrect
- Â In a prompt and friendly manner; handles telephone inquiries regarding estimates, general questions, appointments and work in process
- Â Works in accordance with the BDC Coordinator to broaden the scope of contact with potential fixed-ops customers
- Â Handles assigned customer contact campaigns as directed customers
- Â Contacts the maximum number of customer possible per day
- Â Monitors the times most efficient for contacting guests and uses the non-efficient contact times for creative meetings with the BDC Coordinator, training and performing non-contact BDC work as needed
- Â Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
- Â Keeps work area clean
Qualifications:Â
- Position requires use of the telephone and computer
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- pleasant, enthusiastic, professional voice and personality, who has excellent oral communication skills, the ability to hear, read and, comprehend instructions and information, ability to speak English fluently and clearly, the ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and information in English, additional language skills not required but are encouraged
- Ability to reason with difficult people and situations
- Professional personal appearance, the ability to work comfortably and courteously with the public and the ability to communicate guests' interest, needs and requests to management and personnel.
- Must be able to multi-task and work under periods of pressure while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor so that (S)He gets along with guests, co-workers and management
- High School diploma or equivalent
